The Art and Life of Tina Modotti in California and Beyond

A pop-up exhibition celebrating the life of Tina Modotti, whose creative journey began in California and extended across borders and artistic communities. The evening will feature a curated selection of Modotti’s art, photography, and writings, as well as showcase her early work as a silent film actress. The opening will be accompanied by live music, light refreshments, and an engaging space to experience her art and learn more about her life and legacy. Featuring live music by Nick Rossi Trio and a presentation on Modotti in California by Laura Ruberto.

The exhibition will remain on display at the Museo through Sunday May 17th , giving visitors, additional opportunities to view the work.
