About Rolando Giambelli
Rolando was born in Brescia, Italy on July 1, 1949, and his interest in music began at a very early age. His mother, a soprano singer, inspired him as a child by learning and rehearsing opera while caring for him at home. This early musical experience ignited a passion inside him that he carried with himself for many years. He was 13 years old when he first discovered the Beatles and their music, which he soon learned to sing and play on the guitar. In 1992, Rolando created the “Beatlesiani d’Italia Associati,” and  in 2001 opened a permanent museum exhibition  dedicated to the Fab Four in Brescia. Later on, Rolando developed a love for journalism and photography. He became member of the Lombardy Association of Journalists and collaborated for over thirty years a with various newspapers and organizations documenting cultural and musical events.  Among many important accomplishments, Rolando created a series of posters with various images and close-ups of celebrities in art, music, and entertainment titled EXPRESSIONS. Additionally, Rolando has created and illustrated several books, including Twin Towers Forever, which was praised by acclaimed former president, Barack Obama.
In his spare time, Rolando enjoys writing song lyrics and, above all, celebrating the Beatles with passionate friends like him. He is the producer of the Beatles Day event and he has been part of the judging panel of the San Remo Music Festival.  During his life, he had a chance to meet and work with many celebrities and needless to say, he became a celebrity himself.
Rolando’s big personality and love for music, and art in general is unstoppable.
